I’m Voting Against McCain (Busted!)(Or not?)

Update: Busted.

Or is it?

I should’ve listened to my pops…

I have been dismayed by Obama’s inevitable tack to the right.  those of you who have read me for any length of time probably now that I am an unrepentant far-lefty.  So I have been wavering in my resolve to vote for another politician doing what politicians do.

Sarah Palin is pretty scary.  I can’t decide which nickname I like better for her: Bible Spice or Caribou Barbie.  But she is not the more dangerous of the two.

John McCain is a reprehensible individual.  First there was the infamous C-word/Trollop incident.  And now this:

McCain’s appreciation of the beauty of Asian women was so great that David the American economist had to move his Thai wife to the other side of the table from McCain as McCain kept aggressively flirting with and touching her…I…decided he must have some redeeming qualities as he had adopted a handicapped child from Bangladesh. I asked him about this one day, and his response was shocking: “Oh, that was Cindy’s idea – I didn’t have anything to do with it. She just went and adopted this thing without even asking me. You can’t imagine how people stare when I wheel this ugly, black thing around in a shopping cart in Arizona .
No, it wasn’t my idea at all.”

That can’t be true. I really hope it isn’t.

Then there’s this little gem:

“If I was in charge, I would nuke Iraq to teach them a lesson”…I commented on the tragic consequences of the nuclear attacks on Japan during WWII — but no, he was not to be dissuaded. He went on to say that if it was up to him he would have dropped many more nuclear bombs on Japan.

And this classy exchange:

Amy and I were happily eating pancakes when McCain arrived and told Amy that she shouldn’t be having pancakes because she needed to lose weight. Amy burst into tears at this abusive comment. I felt fiercely protective of Amy and immediately turned to McCain and told him to leave her alone.

He became very angry and abusive towards me, and said, “Don’t you know who I am.” I looked him in the face and said, “Yes, you are the biggest asshole I have ever met”

Heh, indeed.

My father pointed out that this could easily be an unfounded rumor. Good point, pops. I need to look into this source a little more. But any way you slice it, I’m voting against Bible Spice and Anger Management Man.

  1. Keep us posted on the veracity of this story. Looking at the blog it does appear valid but I’d love to see some real proof, like the woman getting some media time, showing her tickets to prove she was there, fact checking that he was there, other witnesses. In the meantime, where IS the Mafia when you need them???

  2. I’m not sure. The lady to whom it is signed has denied it, but we’ll see about the other lady.

  3. The real point is that obamessiah and reverend mcPain are both right wing wackos!

I for one believe every bad thing I hear about both of them.

With obamessiah 7 points up and rising in the polls, there is no reason to worry about him losing.

mcPain and his veep milf are dead in the water. Barring some disaster by the obamessiah campaign or some miracle for mcPain the election is all but over.

This would be a great election to vote independent or third party candidates. If only to keep obamessiah a little worried and a little honest.

What could be better then voting against BOTH right wing parties?

The scientifically impossible I do right away
The spiritually miraculous takes a bit longer

  4. I vacillate between fearing the inevitable Palin presidency and totally agreeing with you, Calso.

  5. Right. So, to sum up – you’re voting for one warmongering corporate-owned fuck because the other warmongering corporate-owned fuck is an asshole.

    Gawd, I love American politics!
