People who supported the invasion of Iraq were fatuous, bloodthirsty, ahistorical, immoral, politically naive, callous, unthinking, reprehensible morons–to the man. The proper attitude is contrition, silence, and contemplation. Making a gaudy spectacle of having “supported” something so awful, even if only to show how smart you were to change your mind when you noticed things going south, is disgusting.

Who is IOZ? nails it.

    How humerous. I support the war. I still support it. The Iraqis that thanked me when I was in Iraq also appear to support the “invasion.”

  2. I think, as is often the case, you are confusing the people who supported the invasion with the soldiers that had work to do. This wasn’t about the boots on the ground, this was about the cowardly chickenhawks that got us into the mess that you had to clean up…
